A little update on our past adventures.

On our last post we cleared this area ready for planting, and a mission it was!

Here we have design to implementation! A fresh rockery for the lovely customer, hopefully something that is a wildlife haven and all year round joy for the family. 🐝 🦋 🌱

Spring has sprung and we’ve been busy!

Swipe for a before to after….

6.5 hours later alongside some rainy showers and we have a tidied up garden ready for the spring/summer.

We discovered some beautiful planting and enjoyed the spring colour. The forget-me-nots were rather cute, what a lovely wee space to work in.

A fresh new planting design today - a preview of before at the end.

All plants were carefully considered so that they thrive in its shady conditions under a large apple tree. We added a few evergreen grasses, aquilegias, euphorbias, a daphne, geranium, astrantia, bergenia, cornus and hydrangea petiolaris.

The customer asked for colour, texture and a smile to their face, hopefully this area will do that! We look forward to seeing it fill out and thrive in the next few months.

Bit of a haircut for this beech hedge the other day!

Very rare to see some sun in Manchester at the moment, couldn’t have asked for a better day for it 🌳🍂🌞

The other day we got involved in a hedge restoration job. This hedge had been left to do its thing for several years, and we were asked to take it back and tidy it up.

7 hours and 12 bags of waste later and we were done!

We thinned the hedge out, by removing all dead branches and stems (which was most of it) and it’s now ready to come back fighting in the spring.

A mission well accomplished!
