We’ve got exclusive 𝚁𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚎 𝙻𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚕𝚢 bunches of Dahlia and Achillea grown locally Cerney Flower Farm in the store.

Florist Rosie is passionate about working with local growers and community gardens to make small batch bouquets.

Grower Cam is in her first year of cultivating her sustainable, bio-diverse flower farm.

Tequila. Watermelon. Lime. Salt.

Served in our iconic Ishkar carafe & glasses.

Black Lines is our absolute go-to for bottled cocktails, and their summery limited edition watermelon paloma doesn’t disappoint. Created to celebrate the World Cup (the paloma is a Mexican staple), the brand then decided to donate 100% of proceeds to earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela, to honour their Venezuelan colleagues.

That’s the kind of teamwork that we like to support.

We’ve had a busy July so far, here at Different Kind.

1. Behind the scenes at our annual photo shoot. nilajaipur Margin tablecloth drying in the breeze.

2&3. Team harvest. We had the chance to help pick mulberries with Social Source. Their delicious mulberry dessert sauce will be instore soon.

4 A quick visit to local Scrubditch Care Farm resulted in freshly laid eggs for dinner and lots of ideas for future collaborations.

5. Taste testing chocolate for our Christmas hampers on the hottest day of the year. We’ve got some great new flavours on the way. Fig chocolate anyone?

We know discounts are really appealing. But we also know severe cuts in price mean someone, somewhere is losing out. ⁠
⁠
One of our mantras is ‘if something is too cheap, someone else has paid the price’.⁠
⁠
That means a warehouse worker expected to work on a zero-hours contract at robot speed with no breaks. ⁠
⁠
Or a woman in a sweatshop in a developing nation, paid under a living wage. 💔⁠
⁠
But do you want to know who won't be missing out? The people around the boardroom. ⁠

Most of our producers are working on a small scale, and a Black Friday style sale would harm both their business models and the social impact they work for. ⁠

As the years have gone by, we couldn’t be more pleased that more retailers have come around to our way of thinking. ⁠
