Bit of the work carried out the week love to see a ceiling freshly plastered especially after it was previously artex. We had to scrape off all the peaks take make the surface as flat as possible before plastering. In the words of Lionel Ritchie oh what a feeling when your plastering a ceiling

Another section of the house completed this week was the kitchen. I love doing kitchens as you always have some tricky angles to conquer and that keeps you on your toes. We had to void a bullnose corner by creating an arris for angle bead. Kitchen looks great now ready for painting and new kitchen install

Job today fan design artex removal along with a monster crack in ceiling. To ensure the crack doesn't reappear after we have scraped the ceiling down we added 1 metre scrim so the crack won't come back. Lots of works to be done here to make this look like a new room we started by removing loose old plaster to create a solid base for the new plaster this includes pva gluing the wall and then putting on a bonding coat to level the surface.
