We are now Fensa approved and offer a 10 year insurance backed guarantee.
What this means?
FENSA approved (or FENSA registered) means a window and door installer is authorized to self-certify that their work complies with UK Building Regulations.
Created by the government, it ensures installations are energy-efficient, legal, and registered with the local council, providing essential certification for selling your home.
Key Aspects of FENSA Approval:
Compliance & Safety: Ensures new, replaced windows and doors meet current thermal performance and safety standards.
No Local Authority Inspection: FENSA-registered installers do not need to wait for local council building control inspections.
The Certificate: Upon completion, you receive a FENSA certificate, which acts as legal proof of compliance.
Insurance Backed: Installers must provide insured warranties for their work.
Property Sale Requirement: A FENSA certificate is essential when selling a home to prove that, for any windows/doors replaced after April 1, 2002, building regulations were met.
Using a FENSA-approved installer ensures peace of mind, protecting you from, for example, "cowboy builders" who might install non-compliant, unsafe windows.
From day 1 we have complied with building regulations, this just ensures we can sign the job off and walk away knowing the customer has peace of mind that the install has been done correctly and with the paperwork for when they sell the property, saving any future hassle.
To add to this, all Fensa registered installs now also come with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee for products and workmanship.
