🏗️ NEW CUT ROOF COMPLETED 🏗️

A proper bit of craftsmanship on this one.

We’ve just completed a brand new cut roof on an extremely old outbuilding where nothing was straight, level, or standard. Every single rafter was individually measured, marked, and cut by hand to ensure the new ridge line flowed perfectly with the existing structure and maintained the character of the original building.

To achieve the required spans and structural support, we also manufactured and installed large queen trusses on-site, ensuring the roof was both structurally sound and sympathetic to the age of the property.

Projects like this are where traditional carpentry skills really come into their own. No off the shelf solutions, no shortcuts just careful measuring, expert craftsmanship, and attention to detail from start to finish.

First fix carpentry nearly wrapped up at our Corfe Castle project 🔨

Structure’s in, floors are set, studwork dialled, and everything prepped ready for the next stage.

Over to the electricians & plumbers ready for first fix to get this one moving on nicely.

We pride ourselves on getting the first fix right so every trade that follows has a clean, accurate job to work from 👌🏼

Throwback to a great project we completed last year 👌🏼

This one was a full transformation from start to finish. Two extensions, a full refurbishment throughout and extensive landscaping works to completely reshape the property inside and out.

At this stage in the video, we were on the final push with everything prepped and ready for LVT and carpets to be installed. It’s always a quality moment where you can really see all the hard work come together.

A proper top-to-bottom job with attention to detail carried right through every phase, from groundwork to the final finishes.

A high-end kitchen installation to finish off this extension 🔥

This one’s all about detail, design, and quality.

We completed the full extension and brought it together with this stunning bespoke kitchen, finished in rich walnut cabinetry paired with cupra slate tones and topped off with seamless solid surface worktops a proper premium feel throughout.

Cut Roof Installed for This Loft Conversion 🔨

Here’s a look back at the cut roof stage of this loft conversion, which we completed just before Christmas.

All of the roof structure was measured, cut and built on site, forming the framework that allows the loft space to be transformed into a functional living area. A properly built cut roof is essential for strength, accuracy and ensuring the rest of the build runs smoothly.

Since completing this stage, we’ve made great progress on the project and have already begun the internal fit out, with the loft now not far from being finished.

It’s always great to look back at these earlier stages and see how the project develops from the structural works right through to the finished space.

🔨 New Roof Complete: Extension & Loft Conversion ☀️

Another project wrapped up with a brand new cut roof installed as part of this extension and loft conversion. Built traditionally on site for strength, precision and to maximise the internal space.

This roof has been finished with Jutland composite slates, giving the classic slate appearance with excellent durability and weather resistance.

We’ve also installed flush-fit solar panels, integrated seamlessly into the roofline so they sit perfectly level with the slates. A clean, modern look while helping the property generate its own renewable energy.

The result is a strong, efficient roof structure that looks great and performs even better.

Another roof ready for studwork on our loft conversion job down in Poole. Timber frame extension going out the back on this one too aswell as a full refurbishment to the rest of the property.

High end kitchen supplied and installed on this full ground floor refurb job in Corfe Mullen we are carrying out currently. Very close to wrapping this one up.

Little progress update on this one. All oak posts machined on site, hand cut roof and finished off on top with t&g. Roofers in tomorrow to get this one tiled in then just guttering to go until the rest of the garden landscaping in spring next year. Fun one to be on as the bulk of our work is extensions, loft conversions & refurbs which we also enjoy but nice to get stuck in to some a nearly all carpentry project 🔨🔥.
