Feeling very thankful this Father’s Day to still have my Dad, Stepdad, and Father-in-Law around. It’s something I never take for granted, and I’m grateful for all the support, guidance, laughs, and memories they bring to my life.

One of my greatest achievements is being a dad myself. Every day brings new lessons, and no matter how old your children are, you’re always learning. I don’t always get it right, and I never will, but one thing that will never change is that I’ll always be there for my children, through the good times and the difficult ones. I’m also grateful to be sharing that journey with my wife, raising our family together and making memories along the way.

I also know that today isn’t easy for everyone. For those missing a dad, stepdad, father-in-law, or special father figure, or for anyone finding today difficult for any reason, I’m thinking of you and sending love.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures, and to those carrying cherished memories of them today. ❤️

✨ Another Happy Customer in Coventry ✨

A recently completed office makeover for a new customer in Coventry.

The feature wall was stripped back to remove the existing wallpaper, and all walls and ceilings were thoroughly prepared before decorating.

🎨 Walls: Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt – Light French Grey
🎨 Ceiling: Dulux Trade Ultra Matt – White

I’ll be returning to decorate the bedroom, kitchen, and living room next.

No woodwork was included as part of this project.

🎥 Just a short video of another job completed for a valued returning customer in Coventry.

This is now the 6th project I’ve carried out at this property, with only the kitchen and office left to complete in the future 🙏🏻

At the moment, the customer is undecided on what they’d like to do with the doors and frames, so this visit focused on the skirting boards, stair spindles, and other woodwork throughout.

As always, everything was fully prepared, undercoated, and finished using Farrow & Ball’s Hague Blue No. 30, creating a beautiful, durable finish.

Lounge completed for a family member in Coventry 🙏🏻

This room needed plenty of preparation, including filling cracks and holes, treating water stains, and removing roller marks before decorating could begin.

The ceiling and walls were colour drenched in Dulux heritage Dusted Heather 😍

The woodwork was undercoated and finished in Dulux Trade Satinwood – Pure Brilliant White for a fresh, clean look.

And yes, you can tell they’re police officers from my choice of tea cup in the photos! 🤣☕🚔

Good morning everyone,

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. Between my business Facebook having a bit of a meltdown and being incredibly busy, it’s been a hectic!

Here’s a small project I recently completed for a new customer in Coventry.

The customer wanted to freshen up the staircase area by having the wall painted in a beautiful colour called Ivory. The handrail was also carefully prepared before being finished with a Light Oak varnish

I don’t usually have any issues with the business side of Facebook, but for some reason my account has been restricted. I’m currently trying to get it sorted, but the number of hoops you have to jump through just to speak to someone is unreal!

Since this happened, my page reach has dropped massively, views are way down, and I’ve even lost around 50 followers 🙈. I’m not really sure what’s going on.

Good afternoon on this miserable wet day! ☔

Just a little update from me.

I’ve got 1–2 customers to see this week and a few messages to reply to. For some reason, my business page inbox doesn’t always notify me when I receive messages, so if you’re waiting for a reply, please bear with me.

Availability for the rest of the year is becoming very limited. From memory, I only have around 7 weeks of availability remaining, so if you’re thinking about getting booked in, please get in touch sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

I absolutely hate being the centre of attention and have never been very good at taking compliments or praise — I always find it awkward and never quite know how to react! 🤣

A living room recently completed for a returning customer in Coventry.

No work was required to the ceilings or woodwork, as they were already in excellent condition. The walls, however, were fully stripped and thoroughly prepared using my Mirka dustless sanding system — without a doubt one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I honestly don’t know how I managed for so many years without it! 🤣

The customer didn’t want the walls lined, and due to timescales there wasn’t an opportunity to have them re-plastered, so extra care was taken during the preparation stage to achieve the best possible finish from the existing surfaces.

The walls were finished in Dulux Trade Heritage Velvet Matt in the beautiful shade Timeless, creating a clean, elegant look throughout the room.
