What a day! 115 presents handed out over a little more than 2 hours, a huge heap of smiling kids and some dodgy cotton wool eyebrows - it’s a blessing to be part of so many people’s Christmas adventures.

And if you’re wondering, the most requested present this year by far was the ‘Meta Quest VR Headset’ closely followed by ‘A cat’. And only 2 requests for siblings this year! (Santa can only do so much Ho Ho Ho!)

The Friends having been making a difference since 1955 at the Hospital of St Cross and in the NHS Community Service in Rugby.
The charity has over 170 volunteers and donates specialist equipment or support projects which improve the patient experience.

Rugby Dunsmore Rotary Club and The Friends of the Hospital of St Cross are presenting a Gala Charity Concert in aid of The Friends and two local charities in Rugby.

There is no booking fee - Tickets on the door will cost £18!
The concert will feature The BIG Sing (as seen on Britain's Got Talent) and the Brass Band of Central England (formerly known as The Jaguar Land Rover Band) who have entertained us on two previous occasions.
The programme will be a mix of entertainment and community singing with a resounding last nigth of the proms style finale.

Come along and raise the roof as well as raising funds for The Friends and local charities!

You can imagine how much cardboard recycling we generate; as I’m being roped into this elf thing this year it seemed only fitting to share this masterpiece - all of that internal light comes from one, singular roof light!
