Nice chill out day with the wife in the kitchen. Ive made the cornbeef pie and strawberry cheesecake, while my better half has made cheese scons, quiche and a jam rolypoly which is still in the oven.
Nice to forget about work for a bit tbh

Outdoor job, all old flaking paint off, stabiliser applied and a new colour applied. Paint sprayer came in very handy😁

Not such a straight forward bathroom refit. TBH was a nightmare.
But it got there in the end for some really great customers.

If you choose to read on....here we go.

Customers who know their stuff went through all the planning aspects and design with a large company!
All parts, materials and fittings where there on site for me to get on with.
Stripped bathroom out while customers booked a cottage while the work was being carried out.
Then the problems started, totally over priced materials and materials they didn't need.
Had to overboard the whole room due to walls and panels (3mm 8 x 4 waterproof boards) Then the real problem, all the 'H' 'U' and corner beads were all for 12mm.
Spoke to company and yes they had sent wrong product with a seven day turnaround for replacements.
If they had used the companies fitters (who couldn't do everything and going to charge £6,500) would have walked of the job for sure.
I ended up searching everywhere to get the customers out of a fix.
Finally found somewhere what could help me out to get it moving again.
Ended up having to work all weekend and starting 0600 on Sunday morning to get the room finished for them returning from the cottage at 1100.
So yes was a mare but sometimes you just have to go that extra mile

Dated kitchen and utility ripped out, walls taken back and boarded. New wall units, worktop, sink, hob, extractor, back splash, cooker, microwave, flooring, kick boards and new counter cupboard doors hung.....

Second bathroom completed and quite a transformation. Previously, all waste pipes boxed in above floorboards.
Part of floor rotten due to leaks.
Shower waste now below boards, new boards down, and sink waste core drilled outside
Another 3 weeks at the same property to rip out old kitchen and utility, refit new units and new flooring

Bathroom conversion. Customer has been unable to use the bath for some time due to parkinsons.
New walk in bath collected and fitted, 2 non return valves for waste pipe from shower and bath due to water pressure when draining the bath. New cushion floor fitted and bespoke unit made to fit inbetween shower and bath.
