Millwood Plants MILLWOOD PLANTS is a Hardy Herbaceous Perennial plant nursery in the heart of the Taw Valley. From Ist October we are open by appointment only.

Although many of the plants are asleep, we still have a beautiful selection of perennials, shrubs, roses, alpine plants, winter bedding & bulbs Come and browse our peaceful plant nursery, easy to self distance Open Monday to Wednesday & Friday 10-5 We specialise in unusual plants for woodland gardens and shady places alongside better known favourites. A good range of bedding plants is also av

ailable in Spring and Autumn. MILLWOOD PLANTS is established in 2004 however with 23 year experience in the trade all our plants are home grown. They are carefully potted on using specially mixed composts. Advise is freely given for planting, siting and care of plants. The plants we grow are carefully selected for various reasons, from being hardy to unusual and authentic. Traditional propagation methods are used to retain the unique characteristics like colour, size and hardiness. Please visit us at our nursery where you can choose from a variety of plants grown in varying sizes. We are expanding gradually and keep adding more varieties every season so you might be surprised everytime you visit us. We offer a wide range of plants at a reasonable price to the general public, as well as professional gardeners. We also sell Strulch and Westlands products.

Now it's our job to get all these wonderful plant nurseries into on Sunday 26th April and looking their best! I'm sure there may be a few frayed nerves but we'll all be smiling again by 10 o'clock when the gates open.
Something for everyone we think, from young veg plants, succulents, Camellias, alpines to climbers, bulbs, lots of lovely perennials and bedding.

Spring is in the air and it's time for the wonderful Mapperton House, Gardens & Wildlands Charity Spring Plant Fair on Sunday 19th April! We have collected together for you an amazing collection of plant nurseries from across the South and West country plus NEW THIS YEAR you will find those lovely people from Niwaki selling Japanese garden tools and also Gardenartz with recycled metal animal sculptures handcrafted in Zimbabwe. SO it's not just plants although it helps if you like the great outdoors!
