One of our teams received a new bit of kit today.
We always try to find the easiest way for our teams to work efficiently and this all electric machine is definitely the way forward. The team was absolutely over the moon with it as you can see in the smile Darren has on his face.

Before, during and after pics of a total back garden make over to make the garden more family friendly. To start with we put up a new back fence with concrete gravel boards and concrete posts with feather edge panels, two composite decks on opposite sides of the garden so one is always in the sun, gravel area to be used for a fire pit area, relaid existing slabs and the lawn levelled out and new turf laid.
All the work was undertaken while following COVID guidelines for the safety of the client and the team.

We hope everyone has been keeping safe in this weather we have been having these last couple of weeks. We have certainly been kept very busy.

The arborist team have done a reduction on an old copper beach tree today. Taking weight off some of the tree can prolong the life of a tree and stop it shedding any big limbs. This tree is right next to a historical wall so by carrying out this work the tree can stay and the wall doesn’t get damaged.

The last training course for the year completed and passed, operating a chainsaw from a Cherry Picker. The best practice has changed and the law says that you must now climb on a two rope system so using a cherry picker really speeds up some of our jobs and can keep our teams safer.

We are constantly looking to improve our arborists competency in all work we undertake and keep our team as safe as possible.
