Anyone else noticing how fast the leaves are dropping off the trees now - our garden is covered in them, despite Nicky's best efforts to sweep and rake. She's quite good at it so if anyone needs a 'class B' gardener I can rent her out.............(she's going to love that)

Feels very autumnal today - looks like I got this log shed built for one of my customers just in the nick of time. This demonstrates how you can create a useful space using largely recycled materials. Start collecting your spare wood and book me for an early October build as I am pretty busy till then!

Apparently there is a bit of 'shed envy' going on up at the allotments - here is the one I installed for our friends Sylvia and Peter complete with plumbing to catch some water in the dry season (if we ever get one!)

These are 'the rail thing'. If you have garden steps which do not feel too safe, then this might be the answer. It was nice to meet the little dog next door!

Look what I 'cooped up' recently. Happy hen house for lots of eggs for my latest customer.
