Remember the shed we were building in the workshop? Here it is, finished and fitted last week.

Built from scratch at our unit. Timber frame, shiplap cladding, decked floor, and a shingled apex roof. Made to measure to fit the customer's garden.

No flat-pack, no wobbly panels, no missing screws and a spare bolt you're not sure about. Just a solid, handmade shed built to last.

A bit of everything on the go at the workshop this week.

Currently building a small shed from scratch – timber frame, decked floor, and a proper felted and shingled roof. No flat-pack here.

Also been making a handmade oak chopping board for a customer. Different scale, same attention to detail.

From garage conversions to garden sheds to kitchen accessories ... if it's made from wood, chances are we've built it.

Finished a few days ago. Photos sent today. Some things never change. 📸

Garage conversion update!

The window's in, the brickwork is finished on the front, and inside it's fully plastered and ready for the customer to put their own stamp on it.

From a cold single garage to a proper living space. Play room by day, Dad's gaming room by night. Just the colour render to finish off the outside, and then this one's done.

Another full conversion handled from start to finish. Groundwork, insulation, flooring, stud walls, electrics, plastering, windows, and brickwork. All in, all sorted.

Garage conversion update — 9 days in.

Here's where we're at now.
The room has been fully plastered, downlights fitted, electrics in, skirting boards on, and a heater installed.
The front wall's been built up ready for the new window, which is going in next week, with a colour render to finish the outside off.

Play room by day, dad's gaming room by night. This one's coming together nicely.

More photos to follow once the window's in and the finishing touches are done. Watch this space.

Garage conversion in progress 🔨

This one's being transformed from a standard single garage into a playroom for the kids during the day and Dad's PlayStation room once they've gone to bed. Best of both worlds.

➡️ Garage stripped out and old door removed
➡️ Stud walls and plasterboard up
➡️ Floor joists laid and levelled
➡️ Insulation packed between the joists
➡️ Chipboard flooring down
➡️ Partition wall framed up at the back

Still plenty to do on this one. Stay tuned for the finished result.

Hidden in plain sight.

This hallway wall panelling job came with a twist. The customer wanted a cupboard door built into the wall that you wouldn't even know was there.

Slatted walnut panels fitted along the hallway with dark framing, and the cupboard door sits completely flush within the panelling. No visible hinges, no obvious handle. Just a clean, seamless finish that blends right in.

It's the kind of detail that takes a bit of extra thought and planning, but it makes all the difference. Proper bespoke work, built to fit the space exactly.
