Hi there, my name is Raymond King. My friends call me Raz. I left school in 1989 and since then I’ve made my living from various different aspects of woodworking.
My apprenticeship was in carpentry and joinery, and then I moved on to making copies of antique chairs and hardwood conservatory roofs, before concentrating for around the last 15 years on 2nd fix carpentry, but with kitchen fitting being my main focus .
My experience covers so much … wooden floorings, from engineered to natural… replacement or new doors, internal / external. Complete 2nd fix renovation…staircase installation and refurb and also smaller joinery projects such as media units , shelving and storage..
I can even help with flat pack assembly.. they’re never as bad as you think …. then moving outside for the summer , decking , cladding . Outside Bars ( very popular) Bespoke shed and summer house design or construction.. we can even just assemble,after purchasing elsewhere. .. even converting that garage that’s filled with rubbish to an office space or spare room ….
We can also offer a complete kitchen fitting package …
The reason I offer this is ,because I have so many people come to me with questions about the huge cost of having a new kitchen fitted .. I’m going to be honest here because .. it’s almost certainly never as expensive as the larger manufacturers want you to believe , I’ll happily help with any ideas and designs .. and I work with all the local suppliers and stockists too .. and can provide a complete service from removal to grouting your tiles or solid work surfaces I work with plumbers and electricians who not only happen to have been my pals for 20 years + .. but who’ve also worked on my own extension on my house .. so I know I have a good team around me for the larger jobs . And i also have my son Reece who helps me out when I need a hand ..
