If you wish to achieve your full asking price here are two things to consider:

1. Kerb appeal. The exterior of your home is often enough for a buyer/potential tenant to decide whether or not they want your home.

2. First Impressions once inside. A fresh paint job can make a home feel brand new again.

Having your home painted could be the difference between achieving your full asking price or having thousands of pounds knocked off.
