🐄 COW HELP…. PLEASE!🐄

So… remember those cows that went walkabouts a couple of weeks ago?
We still have one cheeky one - out on the loose!

A Belgian blue cow, escaped from Eddington Marsh (Hungerford) along with 5 others. The 5 have been recaptured.

If anyone sees or hears of its whereabouts, please call 07768 255831.

A what 3 words reference would be very helpful.

The 5 were caught just to the north of Chilton Foliat so it is likely the missing animal will be in that area.

Over the last couple of days, two of the cows on the common have been hit by cars.

The first incident, the vehicle stopped, calls were made, the cow was seen to immediately and has been monitored. Thanks to the responsible driver, the cow is now doing well and veterinary care was able to be given immediately.

Unfortunately, the second cow that was hit was left to be in pain and the herdsman was not alerted of the incident. We are hoping they make a full recovery but at this time, the fate of the cow is not clear.

PLEASE, if you hit a cow, tell us! That way, we can help the cow and ensure that they are not in pain or suffering from internal injuries. There really is no reason to not let us know if you have had an accident. We would also like to know that you are okay too. We understand that accidents happen. Help us to help them, and yourselves!
