Tapestry Vertical Gardens At Tapestry Vertical Gardens we design, create and maintain biodiverse vertical gardens that change with the seasons and develop over time.

The Landscape Architect was established by Adam Shepherd in 2006 and has developed a reputation for modern garden and landscape design. Our aim is very simple, to create beautiful gardens that function perfectly. We strive to produce a unique space for each and every one of our clients with particular emphasis placed on creative design solutions, the choice of materials and bold planting schemes.

Our preferred palette of materials include wood, stone, polished concrete and steel. The experimentation with these and other innovative materials is an essential part of the design process. We are also specialists in the design, installation and maintenance of living walls.

This years foliage is starting to flow. Sorbaria sorbifolia (first pic) seems to get a bit overlooked, possibly because it’s considered ‘invasive’ in the garden, but it doesn’t seem to pose the same threat in vertical situations. So all good - and in my opinion the foliage is hard to beat.

It’s that time. It seems natures alarm clock has finally gone off and it’s unfurling out of hibernation. New leaves, new life, the cycle continues. Some of the old bugs have managed to overwinter (those pesky thrips) but my trusty right hand man Mikey (vertical maintenance maestro) is on it. First up, the Old street micro jungle, a firm favourite.
