Another full loft transformation completed by Goodguys Property Maintenance 🔥

This loft conversion had been suffering badly with condensation and mould throughout the walls and ceilings (see video in the comments for the before condition).

Work completed included:

✅ Replaced an old Velux window that had reached the end of its life with a brand new modern energy-efficient Velux

✅ Removed old carpet, fully prepped the floor and installed commercial-grade water-resistant laminate flooring

✅ Removed a badly mould-affected wall, insulated it properly, reboarded, replastered and fully redecorated

✅ Full mould treatment carried out throughout the loft using mould-resistant paints and coatings

✅ Installed a humidity-control extractor fan specifically designed to help prevent condensation and future mould issues

✅ Removed old skirting boards and installed brand new throughout

✅ Fully redecorated the banister and stair area

✅ Installed brand new carpet to the stairs for a fresh modern finish

Massive transformation on this one and, more importantly, a much healthier and more usable space for the customer 👌

Another full transformation completed by Good Guys 👌

This one was a big job — a 4-section raised decking area that was over 10 years old and had really started to show its age. The structure was beginning to fail in places, so we took it right back and replaced the majority of the structural framework, making sure everything is now solid, safe, and built to last 💪

Where the original timber was still in good condition, we didn’t cut corners — every bit of remaining framework was fully treated with a high-quality wood preserver to protect against rot, moisture, and future wear.
To finish it off, we carried out a full professional jet wash using a specialist decking reviver, lifting years of dirt, algae, and weathering to bring the natural colour of the wood back to life 🌿✨
The end result speaks for itself — clean, fresh, structurally sound, and ready to be enjoyed again 🔥

Another quality transformation completed by Goodguys 👌

This one started with a tired, uneven subfloor that needed bringing back to life properly. We fully prepped the area, secured everything down and installed a new plywood base to create a solid, stable foundation. From there, we applied a flexible self-levelling screed over the top to achieve a perfectly smooth, level finish ready for flooring.

Once cured, we fitted a high-quality engineered oak veneer click floor, giving the room a clean, modern look while keeping it durable and built to last.

We’ve got some upcoming availability over the next few weeks for flooring, property maintenance, and full room renovations, so if you’re thinking about getting work done, now’s the time to get booked in 📅
