Tuesday saw the official opening of the Sensory Garden @ Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, that I had the pleasure of designing with Garden Design by Michelle Brown in my last year at Kingston Maurward College. It was so exciting to see the garden taking shape and I’m really looking forward to seeing my Peace Gate design,built by Dorchester Men's Shed, installed. This has been a great sustainable, community project, with everyone being brought together by the fabulous team at DCH.
My sincere hope for this garden, is that it will be a place of peace, a retreat from all that the day has brought, for both staff and patients alike.

Fun day trying spiral topiary. I found the top tricky, but the step back and look at it from all angles, tip, worked well.
