A much needed prune for this cherry tree 🌳

We carried out a crown thin and reduction to improve light and airflow throughout the canopy. Not only will this help create a brighter garden below, but it will also reduce weight on the branches and encourage healthy growth moving forward.

A great result and a much tidier, healthier tree for the customer to enjoy. 🍒☀️

Alongside the fencing work this week, there’s also been plenty of tree work going on. We’ve carried out reductions on ash and silver birch trees, as well as pollarding this eucalyptus to keep everything safe, tidy, and manageable.

Something a bit different for us this week — 16m of fencing installed for a local customer after their old fence blew over in the wind.

Great to have Olly back after 8 months of travelling. Safe to say it was a bit of a shock to the system getting back to work life!

Nice little takedown to start a Saturday. This will make a big difference to the customer’s garden, letting in plenty more light.

Trip out to Scarborough today to dismantle this sycamore tree. A full day’s work carefully taking it down section by section to keep everything safe and controlled.

Can’t complain when you get views like that from the top though—definitely one of the perks of the job!

Job from yesterday 🌳

We were called out to deal with some large limbs on this sycamore that were overhanging the garage and the neighbour’s garden, causing concern for the customer.

Instead of removing the whole tree, we carefully took off the problem branches and carried out a light crown reduction. This keeps the tree looking great, reduces the risk, and helps maintain its long-term health.

Quick job today taking down a conifer. The customer also wanted the stump ground out, so we removed that as well to leave the area nice and tidy.

Here are a few pictures from yesterday’s job. We reduced a large conifer hedge and removed a couple of smaller ones to tidy up the space and make it more manageable.

Another happy customer and a big improvement to the garden!

Busy day for the team today today 🌳

We started off trimming a large Leylandii hedge, then moved on to reducing a beech hedge, before finishing the day with some woodland felling. A long but productive day, helped along by a sunny day which made a nice change ☀️

🌲 Last Job of 2025! 🌲

We finished off the year with the removal of a Leylandii that had unfortunately failed on Christmas Day. Half of the tree had blown out, and on inspection we found significant decay through the middle, which had weakened the structure from the inside. With the tree left unstable and unsafe, removal was the best option to prevent any further issues.
