Another ceiling brought back to life after a leak from the property above.

This one had been holding moisture for a while, with staining, blown areas and movement across the surface. Once we stripped everything back, it really showed what was going on underneath.

🔧 Work carried out:
• Full strip of lining paper and damaged areas
• Surface stabilised and prepped
• Cracks reinforced with scrim tape
• Fresh plaster skim applied to bring it back level and solid
• Ready for redecoration once fully dried

The key with jobs like this is not just making it look good, it’s making sure it’s properly repaired so the issue doesn’t come back.

A lot of ceilings like this can look fine on the surface, but once opened up, they tell a different story. Taking the time to do it right makes all the difference.

A customer we quoted last year called us back saying the people she hired to carry out the works had disappointed her and left after two days.

Restoration is work is now underway on this beautiful Victorian conservatory in Edinburgh.

Years of weathering had taken its toll — flaking paint, failed glazing, and areas of rot starting to set in.

Everything is being stripped back properly, all defects repaired, and the timber brought back to a solid, paint-ready condition.

This isn’t just a quick paint job — it’s about doing it right so it lasts.

Ceiling repair completed today for a returning customer in Dunfermline. 👌

This one had an area from a light fitting and a long section cut out along the ceiling due to a previous shower leak. Once the leak had been repaired, I reinstated the ceiling, reinforced the area to prevent cracking, and blended everything back in with the existing textured finish.

All left solid, tidy and ready for paint 👍

Small knock, proper repair 👌

This external corner was damaged after being knocked by furniture.

No shortcuts — the loose material was removed, the corner rebuilt, refined and left ready for paint.

Existing timber stripped back, repaired, and refinished to brighten the space, with a new hardwood worktop added to bring warmth and contrast.

This project meant more than just refurbishment work.

We were trusted to help prepare a much-loved family home in Anstruther, Fife for its next chapter, and that responsibility was not taken lightly.

From repairs and preparation through to plastering and redecoration, every part of the work was done with care, respect, and attention to detail — not just to improve the property, but to honour the home it has been.

A fresh coat of paint can completely change the feel of a space.

This WC was repainted from top to bottom with the customers choice of Golden Rambler, brightening the room and giving it a much cleaner, fresher finish. Careful prep, tidy edges, and durable paint suitable for a bathroom environment to keep it looking good for longer.

Levelling worn concrete, filling cracks, and stabilising the floor with Plasterers Blend Pink SBR. The pink tint makes it easy to see full coverage — simple but brilliant.
