Different type of job today! Giving the pots a new lease of life outside the fabulous The Lion at Earls Colne. This has been in the pipeline for the last few weeks.. we've chosen to go for drought friendly, long lasting flowering perennials. .which once they start flowering will hopefully add a cottage garden/romantic flare to the front of the pub for the majority of the months of the year. Until then the zing of the greens, and the yellow of the daffodils stand out against the frontage. 😍.
Massive thank you to Olivers Plants for their support and beautiful plants, and for Paul and Lucie for entrusting me with the job.

Happy Wednesday!!

The sun is shining, its my youngests birthday...and after a day at 2 clients and half an hour w**ding myself...I am taking a cheeky half an hour to enjoy the sunshine, a little glass of wine, my spring flowers and the calm before the birthday madness after school begins 🥰🤣

I am at Ziel today in Earls Colne 10 till 1600.

Do pop in and say hi 👋.

We have lovely spring flowers from Blooming Girls and our Easter Cards are now out on display.

We also have some delicious new Easter flavours of The Pump Street chocolate . 🐰🐣

First time back this year to a gravel garden i made for a client from an overgrown rubble area....the sea of green will very soon be a sea of blue as the grape hyacinths are about to come out in all of their glory. I pulled out a load that had self spread under the seating area and also a lot of the excess green leaves that were looking messy and covering up the other bulbs and flowers.
Will re post some pictures when they are fully out in flower 💙

Now is the perfect time to tidy up and prune your Wisteria. This will keep it under control and also create many more flower buds.

I had fun this morning tackling this beautiful ancient specimen for a client. 😍. Cannot wait to see it when it is out in flower again. It did feel like spring was in the air while I was working in the sunshine.
