More exterior windows and doors complete. Lots of rot in these ones, all cut out and new wood put in. It's been a great summer but I'm looking forward to getting on with some indoor jobs now. I'm booking jobs from February onwards, contact me for any decorating work you need.

Exterior work is progressing nicely with the dry weather making things easier than some recent years. This job produced a few wet rot surprises but nothing that couldn't be fixed. Some cutting out and letting in new timber and we're good to go.

I've been in Norwich decorating the entrance hall of this fantastic old stately home that is now luxury apartments. Dulux Ivory lace on the walls and ceilings with the decorative coving picked out in white. The front doors were in a really bad state and had to be dyed and then varnished to achieve the required finish. Contact me on Facebook or WhatsApp for your decorating needs.

This one was definitely more of a marathon than a sprint - it has taken ages! Original paint stripped back, new fascia boards fitted, sash windows repaired and brickwork repointed with lime mortar. The wooden cornice at the top of the pillars were rotten so new ones have been made and installed. Now everything has been painted the hall is looking a lot happier! This property has had its pebble dash removed and has been smooth rendered with a lime based system much more suitable for its age and construction. Once the lime render was completed I stepped in to refurbish the wooden windows and doors and to paint the walls and exterior woodwork.
