When Rowan got in touch with Chick-A-Trade about an integrated washing machine door that was hanging off its hinges, a videocall to discuss the issue - and confirm we are both women - led to an evening visit to fix the troublesome door 🚪

Armed with an array of tools, the door was righted in the time it took to make and drink a cup of tea ☕️

Today's awesomeness 😎

The hinge fitting on this cupboard had worked itself out of the socket in the door, leading to the door hanging off 🫣

With a little help from a power screwdriver and a tube of superglue, the hinge is now back in its housing and the door is opening and closing the way it should 💪

Today I completed a Basic Plumbing course where I learned:
*How taps work
*How taps are assembled
*How to fix them when things go wrong
*How to reassemble a tap
*Fitting isolating valves
*U-bends and causes of blockages
*How to clear blockages
*How to remove and replace silicon sealant around sinks, baths and showers.
