Recently, I have stepped away slightly from my decorating business. I am currently concentrating on home educating my two teenagers who are studying for their GCSE's, this, in itself is a full time job. I have given myself a good chat, and although I have stepped back a bit, it is not the end of Hunkydory Abodes and I will be right back soon.

Day2: after a late start and full of cold (thanks to my Grandson) first coat of emulsion on the whitewashed ceiling, cut in around edges again and first coat of emulsion on coving.

Day 1 am.
Lots of prepping, sanding and cleaning ready for a whitewash coat.
It’s this part that takes lots of graft with very little reward...bring on the painting!
