This week’s small garden project - clearing rather a shady corner of our garden from overgrown ivy, honeysuckle and weeds + replacing them with a lilac and some new plants. Digging out/cutting off the old stump was quite a challenge 🪓🪚 but after three hours the job was done.

Last week work - a dramatic transformation of two large raised beds in someone’s front garden. Identical and well balanced design for autumn, winter and spring. Pieris japonica used as a central plant, surrounded by white cyclamens, white heathers, yellow pansies and trailing ivy. Nearly 100 bulbs of blue muscaris, 22 blue hyacinths and some cream daffodils for mid spring display in each raised bed.
