Another roof rescued by Andrew Storey Roofing

We recently got a phone call from Hunters Estate Agents regarding a property that had suffered from extremely poor workmanship carried out by previous contractors. Unfortunately, the roof had to be completely stripped off and re-done properly from scratch.

As part of the project, we also replaced the failing flat roofs with a high-performance rubber roofing system built to last.

To finish the job, we fitted a brand new black 20x10 Estillio slate roof, giving the property a clean, modern look with long-lasting protection against the Cumbrian weather.

This was a full reroof using traditional Welsh slates, combined with quality secondhand slates to maintain that authentic character. We installed breathable felt throughout and re-cemented the ridge tiles to preserve and enhance the classic, old-style finish.

A great result that keeps the property looking traditional while ensuring modern protection and durability.

🔨 Another Complete Re-Roof Finished! 🔨

We’ve recently completed a full re-roof using Estillio 20x10 slate, giving this property a fresh, modern look and a roof built to last.

Unfortunately, the previous roof had been installed very poorly by another contractor, which meant the only proper solution was a full strip and renewal. We removed the old materials and installed the new slate system correctly, leaving the customer with a strong, weather-tight roof and a much cleaner finish.

The transformation speaks for itself – not only does it look great, but it’s now fitted to the high standard every roof should be.
