It is easy for small gardens to quickly feel over grown and crowded, blocking in light and taking away space.
In a short time we were able to turn this garden around and give our client a tidy garden to peacefully relax in.

One of my favourite plants
Dahlia
A plant that really fills out your garden bed either as a group, for a more impressive display, or amongst other plants.
This plant will always brighten up your garden with such an array of different colours.

Overgrown lawn out of control.
Not wanting to use any herbicides we had to dig out these weeds by hand and they have really long tap roots. Once removed we introduced drag top soil to level and ready for grass seed.

Small fencing job in Guilford.
Concrete posts are always advisable due to their inability to eventually rot away.
However due to their weight it does mean you need at least two foot depth to the holes they go in.
I would usually suggest gravel boards be put under the fence to lift them off the damp, but in this case the client rather not have them.
If they decide to change their mind at least it is easy enough to lift out the fence and put some in.
These posts are 9ft posts, 2ft in the ground, apart from the first one because of a mains pipe, always be careful when digging.
The trellis will be added on top, hence why the posts are taller than the 6ft panels and not flush.

Job done.

Autumn is upon us and compost bins are needed.
Always find an area away from the house, if possible, so you don’t have to smell it 🤧
Make it nice and large to accommodate as much as possible. You’ll find it fills up quickly.
