Small fencing job in Guilford.
Concrete posts are always advisable due to their inability to eventually rot away.
However due to their weight it does mean you need at least two foot depth to the holes they go in.
I would usually suggest gravel boards be put under the fence to lift them off the damp, but in this case the client rather not have them.
If they decide to change their mind at least it is easy enough to lift out the fence and put some in.
These posts are 9ft posts, 2ft in the ground, apart from the first one because of a mains pipe, always be careful when digging.
The trellis will be added on top, hence why the posts are taller than the 6ft panels and not flush.
Job done.
