Another great night , lovely dinner, trying more of the new spritz menu, followed by the paint and sip event. Busy bees, painting these is a good lesson in trusting the process! First and last photo are the example one. I think mine was pretty close.

Garden jobs before 8am as then it's too hot for me and work today.

Repotted Rose (yesterday morning)
Potted up my indoor seedlings, corgette, tomato, cucumbers all doing well.
Potted up my Jasmine plant that I got as a gift from a friend recently my herbs thyme, sage, lemon balm, Rosemary and parsley. Then two different types of Basil including purple basil which were gifts from another friend.
Transferred a lady bug onto my rose to help with greenfly.

Early morning before the heat in the garden, lots of happy birds and happy kitties. I was able to keep them far enough apart. One little bird desperately wanted inside to get my seedlings and indoor plants 🪴

When prepping berries for breakfasts earlier this week I tried making strawberry syrup with the strawberry tops (waste). Just mix equal parts strawberry tops, caster sugar and water to a saucepan (pot) and simmer for 20 mins.

I dis this a few times this week when we had strawberries and now have full jar of strawberry syrup

How do you like to use your strawberry tops?

Some great stalls at the makers market today . Hubby is regretting coming up with me as we got quite a few little bits. Great to meet the people and see people making/selling items.

I was on a video call the other day to my cousin and my husband walked in and said "I can't find my banana", very random and I found it hilarious. He ahd been out on a bike ride and I assume was pretty tired. Needless to say I found it the next morning.

I don't like bananas but I do love how great the skins are for all sorts of things to rubbing on your face as a anti-aging tool to soaking in water to oullout nutrients to add to my soil. I am trying too reduce waste at home one little thing at a time.
