A full days work done today building rattan style bedroom furniture. 2 x wardrobes 2 x bedside cabinets 1 chest of drawers and a nice dressing table to finish things off.
This was a make that I have never constructed before and it went together very well with no adjustments needed.

Todays job was a nice change from wardrobes, beds, cupboards etc and hopefully it’s new proprietor will get to move in very soon and I must say will be moving into the most amazing animal home.

So Flatpack Solutions got back to work today after a nice break for the festive season and new year. I like to think of all my clients as equals but todays customer is very special. I will always thrive to do any job for the client as if it was being constructed for my own home. What made todays customer that extra bit special was that after I had made the cot and rocking chair both from IKEA the customer didn’t really want to pay! In fact he looked very puzzled when I tried to charge him and he didn’t even really make much sense. So after thinking long and hard I decided I really couldn’t charge him as todays client was my 5 month old son and it gave me the greatest amount of pride to put together his ver first cot ❤️.
