I grew these this year. Chopped the first in up in October (8 kilos worth), the second earlier this week (9 kilos worth). Currently, have 11 kilos of chopped pumpkin on the freezer, plus pumpkin soup and pumpkin based curry sauce. Might give pumpkins a miss next year 😂

Hello Autumn!

Today's job - chop up one of the pumpkins.... That's six kilos of chopped pumpkin! Made curry wur a kilo of it, the rest has been chopped up and either in my frrezer or given to my neighbours

I've got one more pumpkin to do - it's a good thing that keep as they are, there is no freezer space left 😬

Ta da! Two pumpkins harvested.

When people would say the had grown two pumpkins, I would wonder what the point was - all the effort and space for just two? But when they are THIS BIG... They're going to last while!
