Large eucalyptus removal completed after extensive fungal growth was identified at the base of the tree. 🍄🌳

The presence of Ganoderma fungus indicated significant decay within the lower stem and root system, compromising the structural integrity of the tree and making it unsafe to retain.

Safely dismantled and removed before failure could occur. Another hazardous tree made safe by Avenue Trees. 💪

⚠️ Another reminder why tree inspections matter.

This mature roadside tree suffered a catastrophic structural failure due to extensive internal decay hidden within the base of the stem.

From the outside, trees can often appear healthy — but internally they may already be compromised.

In this case, part of the tree had already collapsed, leaving the remaining stem unstable and posing a serious risk to the nearby road, property and public.

Thankfully nobody was hurt.

Our team carried out emergency works to safely dismantle the remaining structure and remove the hazard before further failure occurred.

Before & after transformation of a large overgrown willow. This job involved safely dismantling the tree, leaving a clean stump and opening up the entire garden space.
