A large tile in the shower proved to be a practical step with only a few joints. Brushed brass/brushed gold effect hardware is a nice change from chrome. Often the smaller the room the harder the work as it presents a tight work space and very little flexibility for positioning of the main items in the room, the homeowner asked for a tall store cupboard and between us we designed and sourced what was best for this bathroom., using 3 Howdens white kitchen base units one on top of the other x 3 and it stopped just right at the ceiling.Trying to get all the small things like the waste plug for the shower and the push for the Wc in brushed brass was not easy as it’s not as common as I’m sure it will be.

Sometimes we are asked to just change a few things in an existing bathroom or kitchen, this makes for an almost new look...

Sometimes we are asked to just change a few things in an existing bathroom or kitchen, this makes for an almost new look especially when we upgrade the worktops and add a boiler housing.
Once we realised we could build a nice tall cupboard at the end of the bath using just two kitchen wall units repurpose them turning them into a tall shallow depth unit we were happy as an ideal solution was not evident initially. We then put a small piece of oak effect worktop on the top so some indoor plants could put up high a nice touch.

Plumb Panels are becoming a regular choice for many households.
We updated this en-suite and made sure to maximise the space.
A form of walk in shower is worth the extra work and detail needed to achieve a practical finish.
We sourced the Grant Westfield Plumb panels from Wolseley plumb centre and made sure to fit a good non-slip tray.
Changing the lighting to low voltage bathroom downlights really makes it an upmarket look.
A nice dual head shower using the pressurised hot and cold water makes the best showering experience, difficult to not stay in there too long.

Just changing the frontals on a existing kitchen can be very difficult as some existing units from about 25y ago are a little bit taller than the doors that are manufactured today, that being said using trims and pelmets to make up the difference is worth the extra effort and this meant we could use Howdens Joinerys’ new sage green range. Taking out the old worktops and fitting new ones is harder than an all new kitchen sometimes but this homeowner was very pleased with their new sage green look with wood effect oak worktops. Then putting in a new floor covering from Howdens and fitting some new downlights rather than a central light really lifted this kitchen to make seem like it’s was all new.

French doors are not often seen or fitted to many homes in a traditional style made from traditional materials. On an older property sometimes the old styles and older traditional materials are a more pleasing suitable solution. Putting a good few coats of paint and stain on all edges and cuts takes patience and time but worth the effort for job that should last years.

Acoustic panels and oak doors!. Finding the acoustic panels to match the oak doors was great. And making sure we used quality handle sets and latches was important to the job going well and the handles lasting for many years. We put Satin Osmo oil on the doors allowing them to look their best and made sure the oil was recommended by the doors manufacturers.

A nice local job we carried out this summer just gone. Sorting out room for an ensuite from scratch was great. Getting the tray as low as possible was satisfying and putting down a herringbone floor made it all look upmarket and with the easy clean shower panel to the shower and behind the basin and Wc it looked neat and clean.

Before an old Wc and after a kitchenette.
Converting an old unused Cloakroom Wc into a small kitchenette was a difficult project as the smaller the room the more thought seems to be needed.
We sourced the kitchen units from Howdens joinery and they sold the mini drainer sinks as well so we able to fit it out quite straight forwardly.
We plaster boarded the old walls then skimmed them so we were left with a clean finish.
We had some paint mixed to directly match the kitchen doors, then we bought some easy panel from Howdens and cut it into the short wall area between the wall units and worktops.

A good install with plumb panel right around the room.Hard to get this room prepared for this finish but worth the effor...

A good install with plumb panel right around the room.
Hard to get this room prepared for this finish but worth the effort. Low flight tray hard down onto the floor with a dual head mixer shower is a very comfortable to use idea leaving the days of standard baths behind. A rigid vinyl floor is a good finish as it’s water proof and warmer during the winter than stone. The basin vanity came from Ikea and all the other items such as the shower all came from the Plumb Centre. A smooth installation.

Bathrooms with a wide variety of designs are available these days building a bespoke cupboard for a vanity unit and Wc is very desirable as it covers all pipe work.
Running the floor right up to and under things makes for a thorough finish.

Replacing and framing out a new bedroom ceiling and cove and paint. Renew lighting with a decorative plaster rose.
At 3m high building a temporary platform was a must.
Customers own materials was used making work easier.
