Completed this project few years ago. Still one of my favourites. From the natural slate to the clay ornate ridge.

We took down a chimney which was not in use and leaded the rear chimney in code 5 lead including the step flashings. It gets quite windy here with open fields all around this property. Occasionally drive past and still gives me much pride.

Each slate is graded by hand which is feeling the thickness as the thickest slates are at the bottom and thinnest at the top, this helps keeping the slate sit as flat as they can without so many kicking slates.

A nice welded front apron and a progress picture of a back gutter.
One of the perks of welding is minimal dressing which means the lead doesn’t get thinned which can lead to tears/rips in the lead overtime. And personally looks much neater.

Sorry everyone,Been a bit silent on my socials recently. Here is a really nice simple GRP flat roof. The roof before was so rotten my leg went through due to how rotten the decking was.

This is our latest fibreglass gulley, a cost effective way of renewing leaky gullies and creating a seamless smooth finish.

🐦 we are now able to offer birds eye drone footage for roof surveys. Very helpful for tall properties which can be hard to get a a ladder up.

New code 5 lead back gutter and flashings(there are soakers) and stripped a portion of the roof to repair all the damaged slates

This back gutter was in a awful condition, no cover on the upstand, holes in the lead and completely filled with debris. We installed a code 5 welded back gutter to last many more years.

So here we have the slating job we finished just before Christmas. Very proud of this job, man made slate and some lovely lead valleys to make sure it lasts.

Had some help from sunny and his team from Sun Key Energy LTD to remove and re-install the solar panels, big thank you.

A very happy customer who gifted us some biscuits at the end. 😀
