Hello everyone, we have some exciting news!
We are on the lookout for a new candidate to join the team on a self employed basis for carrying out General Garden Maintenance.
Here at M P Snelgrove we are about to celebrate our 5th year of trading.
We cover many aspects of work, some of these include General Garden Maintenance, Fencing, Decking, Gutter installation and Cleaning, Pigeon Proofing Solar Panels, Hedging, Paving, Turfing and many more.
We have lots of regular customers that are both Commercial and Private.
The things the new candidate must require are;
• A friendly, polite, trustworthy and positive can do attitude.
• A keen eye for detail and takes pride in everything they do.
• A van to carry tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of using tools, machinery and plant. (preferably already has some own kit)
• Knowledge of plants would be preferred but not essential.
• Great time keeping and able to fill out job sheets.
• Can work independently using own initiative or is a great team player when working in a team.
We are based in Frome for most of our work but do have a few regular contracts in the rest of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset.
This will be on an initial 3 month trial to make sure you fit in well with the above requirements and to confirm you are also enjoying what you do.
We pay weekly for the hours that you have worked once your invoice has been received and checked. Hourly rate varies on experience and what you can bring to the team.
You will be paid for travel time, to and from jobs that are outside of Frome and surrounding villages with mileage included when using your own van. (Will be confirmed on interview or before accepting the new role)
