Good afternoon guys, sorry its been a while since a post or an update on whats occuring for Bowland & Bish...
Our last project was something different and we had been asked for help... id like to say at this point, this isnt about slating other peoples work or calling any one out.
We were approached by a lovely couple who had spent an obscene amount of money and were left with an unfinished landscape and work that was sub standard for mike and I. I can honestly say i felt for this couple and we wanted to help but it still required money spending on it, and with other firm who had started the work they had gone bust so there was no hope of getting any monies recovered.
We visited the site and spoke at length regarding what needed to happen, what needed to be put right, and what wanted doing to finish the job. We rectified sleepers, ground out and repointed the indian stone walling, made a single brick wall into a retainer with weep drainage to accomodate 10+ tones of soil and layed new lawn, added more paths, further art stone walling and steps, circular patios rectified and new additions added, some more raised sleepers and gravel areas... the list is endless! We worked it out together and formed and executed a plan which left the couple with the garden they were hoping for and rectified within a reasonable time scale and financially... we were left a 5 star review long before this post but id like to share the completed job that we have corrected and finished..
Ive said this before, we work the way we do and do what we do for a reason... yes we have an income to earn, but we arent here to get rich, we love seeing people happy and the looks on their faces once the spaces are transformed...hope you have a great week all and here is the garden we saved
