G+L Architects are proud to be appointed as the architects on this much-anticipated affordable housing scheme with Shire HA and Rosewood Homes to provide new affordable housing in Cumnock

The transformation of the long-vacant Yeatts Yard site into 49 high-quality, energy-efficient homes is a significant milestone for the local community and a real testament to what can be achieved through strong collaboration.

It’s rewarding to see our design work progress from concept through planning and now onto construction — bringing much-needed homes, including accessible and older-person units, to life. A huge thank-you to Shire Housing Association, Rosewood Homes, and all partners involved for their trust and teamwork.

Looking forward to watching the scheme take shape on site and contribute positively to the community in Netherthird.

It was a pleasure to welcome new clients to Belfast last week to explore a range of exciting development and investment opportunities across the region.

At G+L Architects Ltd, we are seeing first-hand the continued momentum and confidence in the Northern Ireland market. It’s incredibly encouraging to witness the level of investment flowing into NI, reinforcing the strength and potential of the region.

We’re delighted to share that G+L Architects Ltd has received planning approval for a proposed social housing project at Craigens Road, Cumnock.

This development, delivered in collaboration with Rosewood Homes and Properties Ltd and Shire Housing Association, will provide much-needed affordable homes for the local community.

We’re delighted to share some important developments in the evolution of our practice.

Over the past few months, we have restructured the business, including a full rebrand from A10 Architects Ltd to GL Architects Ltd, and the appointment of David Law, who leads our Northern Ireland office, as a Director.

These positive changes mark the next chapter in our growth. They will allow us to expand our services to include development and site acquisitions for clients, while continuing to deliver the creative, practical and client-focused architecture we are known for.

We look forward to this exciting new phase and to continuing to build strong partnerships with our clients and collaborators across the UK.
