“jivan’asmad” is a connotation created in order to showcase my works under one head !! It is the combination of two different words ‘जीवन ‘/ jivan [ meaning life ] which is a hindi word and ‘असमद’ / asmad [meaning I or self ] , a sanskrit word ; whil

st hindi is my mother tongue and a language evolved from the mother language sanskrit itself , the connotation thus created highlights the importance of a language itself ….language one of the most elementary mediums to convey, sanskrit the language , serving as the backbone for evolution over generations ; it therein provides to mention a part of my name “Jivan’tika ” , to give an individualistic identity …

The symbol signifies how my life , like all of us today , bound in a box of social responsibilities and endeavors , wants to break the rigidity and monotony of life itself to venture in the deep limits of my soul , many a souls , where a thought might sit , a moment might be etched or a sketch might be working out!!! …..it is my attempt at exploring this world through me , exploring us all , the original me that sits deep within , like sanskrit sits and backs hindi …. and expressing it in any medium …art/ painting/writing….things that make me come out of my shell…stories and experiences for all , that will make you wonder on your own self , on your own world …..!!! and yes …never do forget ….there’s beauty everywhere , in me , in you and , in the darkest corners of the soul, the brightest corners of the world….!!

Glasgow Stories:- Walking past these lovely alternate routes to my university and library and basking in the fortunate sun on seldom days...cold winds, cute dogs, happy people...chats, fat squirrels, wonky ducks.. conversations, kids play and childhood laughter, calling a friend now miles away....
just a good reminder...for the good quality of life...before I embed myself into a day of frying my brain on studies...!! 🤣🤣
Life is good, as good can be...as peace of the soul is needed, demanded and achieved! Being lonesome and yet being fun..and that nature is a terrific good healer!

जानते हो !
पानी की भी परछाईं होती है
पर कैसे ये मैं नहीं जानती !
उजली धूप का खिलौना होती हैं परछाईं ,
या कभी चाँद की चांदनी का झुनझुना!
कौन बचा है खुद की परछाइयों से
पानी भी कब तक करता अनमना
लुका छिपी-लुका छिपी, हा हा हा !
हम्म्म , हर परछाईं के पीछे
एक अस्तित्व छुपा होता है शायद
या शायद परछाइयाँ में होते हैं हम ......
तुम और मैं ,
सच्चे और अधूरे
कुछ सफ़ेद से , और कुछ भूरे ,
हम्म्म ......
मैं अक्सर परछाइयाँ ढूंढा करती हूँ
जानते हो क्यों ?
चूक से ढंकी , दुनिया के मुखौटों से छिपी
तुम्हारी नंगी आँखों के पीछे
शायद तुमसे मिल पाऊँ ,
और कह पाऊँ ,
"कितने खूबसूरत हो तुम ,
उत्तम नहीं , ना ना ....
अपूर्ण हो तुम !
देखो देखो
अपनी परछाईं में ही
कैसे खिले हो तुम!"

THE BUTTERFLY SERIES 1:-
My mum, before the lockdown, didn't let a part of the hedge of our government quarter compound be cut which was having a wild bush that bears wild flowers... (see the last image) . The benefit, every morning their is a throng of butterflies of every color and size, just playing around on this bush specifically and thus participating in the process of pollination.. And enriching the ecosystem!! This beautiful one was the largest in size and of an amazing blue color which I hadn't ever seen here before and hence appears to be rare. I had to be merged into the bush, wait patiently being still for nearly 15 to 30 minutes to click them after they felt comfortable to pose.They are my morning motivation to get up and watch them play!!
