Planning a building project? Don’t leave finding your builder until the last minute! 🏡

One thing we always encourage our clients to consider is lead times.

It’s quite common for people to have their architect, designs and plans in place before they start looking for a builder. But getting us involved early means we can plan ahead, discuss the finer details and make sure everything is ready when the time comes to start.

Michael first visited the project he’s standing outside in this video three years ago. That doesn’t mean it’s taken three years to get to this stage, but it’s a great example of how building projects can evolve, with clients often having other things to organise before they’re ready to move forward.

We understand that these things take time, and we’re always happy to have those initial conversations, even if your project is still a little way off.

It’s always great to hear from our clients and see how excited they are as their projects start to come together!

Michael caught up with Lorraine outside the property we’re currently transforming for her and her family, chatting about the changes to the exterior and how far the project has come.

We’ve worked alongside Studio John Bridge Architects on this one, and as always, John has done a fantastic job with the design. It’s brilliant to see his vision coming to life, and we can’t wait to share more as the project progresses!

Behind every project we share, there’s a team of hardworking people who make it all happen.

Michael caught up with Steve, one of our valued team members here at ELE Developments.

Steve is a brilliant example of the people we’re lucky enough to have working with us. He takes real pride in his work, is always willing to go the extra mile and has built some great relationships with our customers along the way.

We’re incredibly proud of the projects we deliver, but Michael is equally proud of the people behind them.

A big thank you to Steve for everything he does. It certainly doesn’t go unnoticed!

You might remember us introducing this project last month… now Michael is giving us a little more background on what’s ahead. 👷‍♂️

We first started liaising with the client around 18 months ago, with plans originally drawn up for their existing property.

Things then took a slightly different direction when they decided to purchase the property next door. The project was put on hold while the purchase went through, before heading back to the drawing board to redesign the plans around both properties.

The result? Two properties being knocked through and transformed into one home…and there’s going to be plenty to follow as this one progresses.

At ELE Developments, we can manage your project from the very early stages right through to completion, with our wider team including architectural design, quantity surveying and the full construction process.
