We urgently need to add to our teams!!

If you are a competent self employed window fitter, with a CERTASS card, we need you!!! If you fancy a little holiday (it's not a holiday!) in Staffordshire, we would love to hear from you!! We can keep you busy all of March! Easy Peasy!

We would also love find a GRP roof team that might have a little gap or two in their diary that they need to fill.. you need to work to a high standard, and be trained, or willing to go and train fairly quickly! to use Restec products!!

In return you'll be looked after, treated like family and paid properly. Hopefully there are lots of opportunities on the way after too!

We haven't closed.. Promise!! Although if you looked at our page, you'd be forgiven for thinking we have!

It's been a big year for us, with many windows fitted and WAY more roofs than we thought.. We've learned a lot, and achieved a lot too.. We are now an NFRC 'competent' business, as well as a CERTASS one, and we have a Trustmark too.. and plenty of growth planned for 2025

Thank you so much to everyone that had supported us, both our lovely customers and our superstar team..!

Our diary is already pretty much full until April, but if you have summer Flat roofing or Glazing projects planned, give us a shout!

We'll be looking to grow our team too.. So if anybody wants to join our happy little gang, give us a shout in the New Year!

💥GRP Roofing People!!! 💥

Our diary for the next few months is busy busy busy and we are tentatively looking for a competent GRP roofing person to join our happy little gang!

You'll need your own transport, and references that absolutely prove without question that your attention to detail and the standard of your work are top notch, but other than that we can work around existing commitments, how we structure pay etc.. you won't need to survey anything or pay for anything up front..

Flat Roofing is now a much bigger part of our business than we had planned!!....

We are very proud to announce we have been approved as a member of the Confederation of Roofing Contractors.

This means that you can recommend us for Flat Roofing, and Flat Roof Insulation knowing that we have been checked out, and we're all good! Our work is carried out to the highest standard, we have all the right insurance in place to keep you and your home safe, and most importantly our customers are happy. Always.

It also means that we can now offer insurance backed guarantees for all our roofing work.

We've just finished two separate big, fairly complex flat roofs, both of which had been installed recently by another contractor, and both left in a bit of an ugly leaky muddle. 💧

We removed all of the old, newly installed fibreglass, put right everything underneath and then re-did the fibreglass roof.. which isn't much fun when it rains ALL the time! ☔️

But.. it's made worth while when we get feedback like this at the end. From asking the previous team to leave her property under a very unhappy cloud to smiley faces.. 😊

🌞 We have a couple of unexpected dates for June available, and space in July too if anybody is planning exciting roof projects! (Or anything else!) 🌞

Wow!! What a start to 2024.. So. Much. Rain.

There is no rest for the wicked though.. or the actually quite nice, and things here are about to get 🐝 BUSY!!! 🐝

So.. over the next few months we will need to increase our team! 👷🏽‍♀️ 👷🏻‍♂️ 👷🏽 👷🏻‍♂️ 👷🏽‍♀️

We would like to hear from you, if you have experience in flat roofing (Rubber or Fibreglass), or insulation.. or if you would really like to learn. But I do mean REALLY like to learn, and do a good job.(Bonus points if you have completed NVQ's in either of the above already, but we can put you through them if not)

You need to be physically fit, polite, and conscientious. But other than that, we're open to anybody, apprentice/experienced/wanting to restart your career.. if you have the right attitude please get in touch!

We're growing fast because we ALWAYS do our best to do a great job, so we need the same level of care and commitment from you.

We really want people who want to work five days a week, or maybe regular part time hours. Self employed until you have proven that you are reliable and keen.. after a fully paid trial period we are open to employment, or you can stay self employed but as a small company we can only employ the best! We'll do our best to look after your either way.

Lots of opportunities are coming!

Driving licence would be great, and/or own van.. but we're completely open at this point to all suggestions. Rates depend on experience but are open to discussion and we aim to pay above industry average.

Just leave your cowboy hat somewhere else! 🤠

Today, we received a very distressed call from a lovely lady who had a door fitted by another company.. and the door had never opened/locked properly and she was terrified she was going to get locked in. Or out. Or worse, her home wasn't secure and she lives alone..

She had phoned four companies but nobody was keen to help fix somebody else's mess. By the time she spoke to us she felt very alone and completely out of her depth.

We have been and put this right for her today, and just wanted to say, if anybody out there is in a similar situation, please give us a shout.

This isn't an advertising post. Everybody is feeling the pinch at the moment.. but if you or a neighbour is stuck and doesn't know where to turn with anything like this, (or your guttering is leaking or your window doesn't close etc etc) If we can help, we will..

If you can afford to pay us, then great. We're a business, and we have to pay our bills. BUT, if you can't, and you're local to us, and you can't sleep at night because you're worried about people wandering into your house, or you are freezing cold 🥶 still give us a call and remember that Lee likes his tea ☕️ really strong! And if we can get you sorted we will.

Please give this a share.. somebody you know might be struggling alone with something we can fix really easily!!

Apologies for the radio silence.. we are currently in the middle of squeezing about a months worth of work into a fortnight!!.. Without being any less proud of ALL the work we're doing!! (I promise if you are waiting for anything, you haven't been forgotten, and we will be completely caught up with quotes and diary appointments by mid next week!!!)

It's been a Conservation area, Wooden windows (first ever double glazing) kind of day today.. You know you're getting something right when you run out of Business cards to give out by the end of the job!... 💪🏻 And so lucky that it's for the NICEST customer ever!! We are absolutely thrilled to be able to make sure her windows will keep her warm and toasty this winter!! 🔥

Now to teach Lee to take photos without his reflection in!!! 🙊

Apologies for the quiet! It's been a bit (A LOT!!) busy.. 🏡 🏡 🏡

I was quite worried about this job. We love old buildings, and I thought this kitchen window was beautiful as it was.. but, it was also draughty, leaking, rotten and insecure. Not much fun to live in!!

Not any more! Now it's brighter, warmer and hopefully our customer will have a much smaller heating bill this winter! And a kitchen they can spend lots of time in without an extra jumper (or three!)

We have lots on for the next few months, but if you need us, give us a shout and we'll get out as quickly as we can!

We are still looking for a super keen labourer/assistant/future window fitter!! 👷🏻‍♂️👷🏽‍♀️

We have had a few people contact us, but nobody yet that is the right fit for us.

You must be able to get to Gosberton, or living in or very close to Gosberton. If you can do that, you don't need to drive right now, but you need to be planning to learn/learning!

You need to be looking for something long term.. ideally. We want someone that eventually can head up his/her own little team!

You need to be polite and friendly, be conscientious, and careful (we are trusted with peoples homes so you need to be trustworthy too!) and hardworking.

It would help if you don't mind ladders or rain (sometimes you have to go up high, and the weather is frequently rubbish!!)... And you promise not to eat all of Lee Townsend's Haribo!

We can work with self employed/employed. There are absolutely no age restrictions, but due to the nature of the job, you need to be physically fit. We don't mind if you're not available five days a week.. but you need to be reliable! in return you'll be well looked after, paid properly and trained to the best of our ability.

You only have to ask! We can do all the ground work and put it together for you.
