Finally back to complete “The Church/Chapel” and managed to take some photos of the work we have done throughout last year. It was a lot of plaster and very stressful getting the angles and spacings right on the beads. But I think the hard work has paid off. Amazing to think there was three lifts of scaffold inside to enable us to get it done. Most credit must go to Martin Heywood who’s job it was.

I hope everyone has had a lovely festive holiday and enjoyed some time off. Unusual detail in the new porch. Old exterior front door is now the interior porch door and the client wanted to keep the soldier course of bricks as they are original to the 120 year old house.

A few "before" pictures which show the fireplace and archways in place. The clients decision to remove them has transformed the space and really opened it up.

Over Artex ceilings. Ceilings had an aggressive artex coat but covered well with an initial coat of bonding and finish mix. The result was great as you can see from the photos. There were also two archways which were removed and made good. One dividing the dining room from the lounge and the second in the small "cubby hole". The fireplace was blocked up by a highly recommended decorator Peter Le-mon and plastered by myself.
