Most problems on new build projects start long before first fix.

Poor planning creates expensive installs.

We regularly see:

* undersized plant rooms
* unrealistic layouts
* clashes between trades
* no allowance for servicing access
* ventilation left until last minute
* heating systems designed without considering real-world installation

On paper everything works.

On site, it becomes delays, variations and compromises.

Good plumbing & heating design isn’t just about compliance.

It’s about making projects practical to build, coordinate and maintain long term.

The best projects are usually the ones where:
• design is considered early
• trades communicate properly
• plant layouts are practical
• renewable systems are planned correctly from the start

At Greener Plumbing we focus heavily on the planning stage because smoother installs start before materials even arrive on site.

A few years ago GME Group ceased trading.

Since then, I’ve spent a lot of time dealing with the aftermath, supporting old projects where needed and reflecting on both the successes and the lessons that came with running a growing business.

Like many in construction, the journey hasn’t been straightforward — but challenges teach you a lot about resilience, people and how you want to operate moving forward.

Now my full focus is on Greener Plumbing, specialising in:
• Heat pumps & renewable heating
• Underfloor heating
• Plumbing & heating installations
• New build & residential projects

Moving forward, the focus is simple:
quality work, better systems, accountability and building strong long-term relationships.
