Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between [Treadwell 84 limited] ("Company", "we", "us", "our") and the client ("Client", "you", "your") regarding the provision of window cleaning, gardening, and house cleaning services (the "Services") provided on a subscription basis.
By scheduling a service, creating an account, or subscribing to a plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Subscription Contract & Term
1.1. 12-Month Term: This agreement is a 12-month fixed-term contract (the "Initial Term") beginning on the date of your first service.
1.2. Automatic Renewal: Upon completion of the initial 12 months, this contract will automatically renew for successive 12-month periods unless you provide written cancellation notice at least [4-6 weeks, e.g., 6 weeks] prior to the end of the current term.
1.3. Cancellation Fee: If you terminate this contract before the 12-month period expires, you will be liable for a cancellation fee equivalent to [e.g., 50% or the remaining balance] of the outstanding charges for the remainder of the term.
1.1. Subscription Structure: We offer recurring cleaning/gardening services (fortnightly,monthly) based on the package selected by the Client.
1.2. Scope of Work: The specific tasks included in your package are detailed in your confirmation email/invoice. Any work outside this scope will require a separate quote and cost.
1.3. Scheduling: Regular services will be scheduled on an agreed frequency. While we endeavour to maintain consistency, scheduling is subject to change due to staff availability, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.
1.4. All-Weather Policy: For window cleaning, we work in most weather conditions, including light rain, using purified water systems. If weather deems the service unsafe (e.g., high winds), we will reschedule.
2. Client Obligations
2.1. Access: You must ensure safe access to all work areas (house, garden, windows) on the scheduled date. This includes unlocking gates, securing pets, and removing obstructions.
2.2. Facilities: You agree to provide access to electricity and running hot/cold water.
2.3. Hazards: You must inform us of any known hazards, including broken windows, unstable ladders, underground pipes, or aggressive pets.
2.4. Inaccessible Areas: If cleaners cannot gain access to a part of the property, that area will not be cleaned, and no partial refund will be provided.
3. Payment Terms
3.1. Subscription Payments: Subscription fees are billed [monthly 1st day of every month] in advance via standing order/Direct Debit
3.2. Late Payments: Late payments may result in the suspension of service.
3.3. Payment Penalties: If payment is not received within [24/48] hours of the service date, a late fee may be applied.
3.4. Price Adjustment: We reserve the right to change our prices. Notice of price changes will be provided at least 30 days in advance.
4. Liability and Damages
4.1. Insurance: We are insured for damage caused by our negligence.
4.2. Reporting Damage: Damages must be reported within 24 hours of the service completion to be considered for compensation.
4.3. Exclusions: We are not liable for pre-existing damage (e.g., loose putty, frail glass), damage caused by not removing obstacles, or damage to delicate items that should have been secured.
4.4. Third Party: We are not liable for injuries to pets or individuals left in the work area during service.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
5.1. Your personal information, including address and payment details, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations.
6. Governing Law
6.1. These terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales].
