From badly cracked 120 year old ceilings, to repaired and refreshed !!

A two storey properties hallway, consisting three flights of stairs, two landings and two corridors. Ceilings were cracks cut back, invisiscrjmes to try a prevent movement cracks re-appearing, all surfaces Mirka Dustkess sanded. In total, 10kg of Toupeet quick set filler was used.

Ceilings finished in Farrow & Ball no 16 Cord Estate Emulsion, cornice and woodwork in Farrow & Ball no 16 Cord Modern Eggshell and walls in Farrow & Ball Cord dead flat emulsion, all to give that popular colour drench effect finish

Happy new year to all !!

A selection of work completed since my last social media post. I’m pretty useless at this modern way of communicating, forget to take pictures !!!

With the start of a new year comes the hope I might improve using it, and help keep, those that are interested in what we do for our lovely clients, up to date.

January has started ,
Pretty much the way, December finished. Busy helping clients make homes, to be proud of.

From simple refresh, to full refurbishment. We partner with joiners, electricians and all trades, can recommend upholsterers and flooring experts if required, and liaise directly to get any project completed.

We’re currently on a large decoration refurbishment for a client whom we’ve worked for, for over 20 years. Pictures will follow once the magic has finished

Happy school summer holidays to all

It’s been a busy summer so far, lots of work, mostly indoors, but eventually hit round to start in externals in July !!

We’ve been so busy that photo taking and social media gets forgotten 😩

Here’s a minute selection of the work we’ve carried out for our lovely clients. Including using the Fabulous Spider lifting platform, saves having tonnes of scaffold around your home, and also creates a very safe working platform for thorough prep and decoration of high up externals

We are currently looking for someone to join our small family firm to help cover our ever expanding client base and workload.

Having experience with mainly domestic client based decorating works, although we sometimes venture into the commercial area too, you’ll be enthusiastic, with great communication skills to liaise with our lovely clients. You’ll be a clean and tidy decorator, ability to work on your own or as part of our team, Organised and a friendly personality is a must.,. Car driver preferred. Although not essential.

Working through the HMRC CIS scheme, pay is weekly with a minimum of 40 hours per week.This opportunity is long term, with price work or day rate available. would also suit a young candidate who’s done minimum
Of 18 months experience

Happy weekend folks

I really must keep up on my social
Media, even if it’s just to let everyone know, I’m still working away on helping people with their vision for their homes

Anyway, a little reminder. It’s just as important to clean and maintain the interior surfaces of cast iron and timber gutters, as it is the exterior

Here’s a photo of a gutter, cleaned out. Dusted out and coated in Bitchuminous tar paint to protect something most people never see, buts it’s equally important to do

A lovely kitchen breakfast room and utility completed this week. Ceiling done in Johnstones stain away mixed to Wimborne white, the stain away was used to cover marked ceiling where scented candles had been burning.

Walls Dimity by Farrow & Ball Woodwork Wimborne white eggshell and units Farrow & Ball Oxford Stone with island in Brasica, again by Farrow & Ball. All hand painted
