In between sunshine, showers, and thunderstorms, we tackled the complex but highly rewarding task of untangling and rescuing these climbers from their collapsed structure.
With plenty of patience, we cleared away the dead wood and old growth to create this beautiful, fresh, leafy green arch.
The result is so rewarding and a great centre piece in this delightful courtyard garden 🌱

I’ve really enjoyed working on small boarder project. We had the freedom to choose plants and planting style for this warm contemporary cottage border.
We choose a naturalistic perennial planting scheme combining long flowering performance, pollinator-friendly planting, and soft ornamental grass movement. The palette balances warm apricot and crimson tones with deep violet and lavender-blue flowers for a cohesive and extended seasonal display. 🌱

One of the things we love most about being gardener’s, is seeing a job through from start to finish. A real benefit of having a regular gardener. Having the time to prune, maintain, shape, and restore plants, so they can thrive over time.
We’ve been carefully working on these climbing David Austin Roses and seeing the transformation has been incredibly rewarding. This is one of the true joys of horticulture, nurturing plants and helping them reach their full potential.
We can’t wait to see it in full flower on our next visit 💛🌱 🌹

Putting new life back into the borders 🌱
We used Photinia ‘Red Robin’ to create screening and provide privacy from the public footpath behind the fence.
The existing climbers — Passionflower and Trachelospermum jasminoides — were carefully removed from their supports and retrained back in. Over time, they’ll provide a wonderful mass of flowers and lush leafy coverage.
The flagstones were also removed to create more space for the border to develop and soften the area naturally, ready for planting.

Making outdoor spaces feel fresh and inviting again — out with the old, in with the new.
The first stage of this front garden renovation is now complete.
A new Privet hedge has been planted, which will grow to provide increased privacy while creating a natural barrier from passing traffic.

We’ve started the week carefully restoring lawn edges and rejuvenate established borders, removing weeds and moss, helping to enhance the overall health. Helping existing plants to thrive. 🌱
