⁉️Having Wifi issues around your property?

🛜 Tried using TP / Netgear WiFi plugin extenders around the house and still not getting the speeds you need?

👨🏽‍🎓Case Study:

Client came to us stating that internet speeds are low around property and only good in the room where router is. Zoom video calls keep dropping out and also when streaming on TVs it keeps buffering. There speed should be 500mb according to their internet service provider Utility Warehouse.

👍🏽Solution:

We arrived and did a simple speed test in various ares of the property and found indeed they were getting around 80MBPS or under and WiFi signals of 1-2 bar only in most areas. We tested the inbound connection on router and it showed speeds of 500MBPS.

We Installed 3 fully wired wifi access points around the property carefully laying the cable externally using external grade cables so no cables were seen in the property. We even hid most of the cables behind drain pipes ect for neatness and only drilled into the house where the access points were going.

Result:

✅ Happy client and happy kids! Speeds tested previously at 80MBPS or lower were now showing at 450MBPS across the property.

🍾 ADDED BONUS: If they change internet providers or they get a new router, they now never need to reconnect all their devices they just carry on using same logins we have given them.

❌ DON’T USE WIFI EXTENDERS TO EXTEND WIFI.. ALWAYS GO WIRED.

We ❤️ it when clients put security at the forefront of their renovation. 💯

This lovely family home was renovated to very high standards, and the clients chose us for their security needs.

Here we start this project off with the Intruder Alarm System…

➡️ Full spec RISCO UK + intruder alarm system installed using their unmatched internal BUS PIR motion sensors.

➡️ Perimeters are also protected using shock sensors on the windows and magnetic contacts on the doors. We also installed external garden sensors to protect against intrusion from the rear.

➡️ As always, we smartened it all up with the screen where clients have total control of their intruder system.

Then along came the CCTV..

🎥 CCTV was all taken care of by using the top-end Hikvision UK & IrelandColorVu Pro cameras and NVR. These cameras give amazing night picture quality where you see everything in full colour. Coupled with intrusion detection and 2-way audio, these cameras are amazing!

Finally the doorbell to finish it off…

🚪 For the doorbell, we used Hikvision's video doorbell, small, smart, and sleek. This unit video calls your phone if someone presses the doorbell. Not only this, but it also records 24/7 on the Hikvision CCTV recorder, so it's almost like having another camera at the door! This system comes complete with a 10” screen to not only view the doorbell but also all the cameras too. Complete integration!

✍️ Here is a review from one of our commercial clients in Southampton. 📝

The requirements from the client were to have:

1. Smart Alarm System
2. Adequate CCTV
3. Video Intercom System
4. Data Points / Wifi Extenders

We believe we matched the requirements with what we installed…

✅For the Intruder Alarm it was a obvious choice of using panel with Risco Bus Line detectors.

For the CCTV System we used range of cameras from our preferred trade suppliers! ✅

✅For the Video Intercom system we used Hikvision IP Intercom system which integrates with the CCTV setup. We Installed 2 of these one for the entrance door and one for the staff door. The intercom system has door control relays already built-in so with the addition of strike locks they were fully secured.

Data and WiFi we used Ubiquiti Pro. These are all hard wired directly from a POE switch, doing it this way means less loss of bandwidth compared to using the cheaper plug in type wifi extenders.✅
