Inspirational visit to Hampton Court Flower Show last weekend! It was great to see sustainable veg growing headlining a number of different stands and gardens and has given us some new ideas.

Toilet roll seedling pots, pallet compost heaps and no dig gardening are the main things we're going to be trying next year!

It was so great to deliver our first seedlings today as we ran a little street sale for a lovely neighbourhood in St Leonards! We're so pleased we managed to dodge the rain and share our Veg and Herb seedlings!

We are so pleased to be able to announce the start of our seedling sales! Each Monday we will be posting a list of the seedlings which will be ready for collection from St Leonards on Sea at the end of the week.

The seedlings we have available this week are:
Tomatoes - Moneymaker
Lettuce - Little Gem
Parsley - Giant
Chilli - Jalapeño

Each seedling is £2 or you can mix and match with 3 seedlings for £5.

Message us to place your order! Be quick as once they're gone they're gone and we might not have the same variety again this year!

Happy Easter from us at DIYVeg! As we come into the warmer weather in spring, now is the perfect time to start sowing your seeds if you haven't already!

Our love for growing veg is definitely inspired by our families! Seeing them grow produce like this made us want to get out and start growing!

It looks like we're all going to be spending more time in our outdoor spaces this year, why not make the most of it and have a go at growing your own. It's sustainable, fun, a great learning activity for kids and it will taste better than anything you can buy from the supermarket!

It's so great to see our seeds being planted by lovely customers! Even our seedlings are jumping for joy!

Each of our boxes comes with handy 'how to grow' guides where we've simplified the sowing process so it's easy to follow and gives you the best chance of enjoying some yummy veg! With sustainability more important than ever, we decided to try something different instead of rushing out to buy extra plastic pots! We're using tin cans with small holes drilled in the base for some of our early tomato seedlings! So far so good, and the best thing is that the tins will still be recyclable once we've finished with them!

We're wishing this wind would go away and be replaced by the sunny days we had in the last few weeks! It's not just us either, our seedlings have all shot up in recent days and are hoping for warmer weather to keep them going!

We're so excited to be able to launch our 'City Box'! We've picked the best veg and herbs to grow indoors so everyone has the chance to enjoy the satisfaction of growing their own this year!

Each box is only £8.99 and includes 7 varieties of veg and herbs, growing guides, sowing calendars, plant markers and compost pellets. All you need is some small pots or containers and you can start growing your own this year!
