“My friends keep asking when am I going to finish the concrete columns” joked our client when discussing his lovely jewel of kitchen we recently installed last week… Opinions are divided around uncovering the bones of this 1960’s Islington tower block, and leaving the rawness on display, but for us and those people who typically chose our surfaces, this emotional response to the stuff around them, is important.
The juxtaposition of materials and finishes, the detailing and craftsmanship of a space is what continues to please and feed these souls, long after the builders have left…

A nice way to end the week and start the weekend... a lovely and fresh, green RESILICA worktop created and installed locally, just along the coast... it’s great to not face the M25 and for our customer to have something that is made so locally! Green is not a common choice for a worktop but we think it looks fab... ❤️

Great to revisit this lovely kitchen in Bristol last week and hear how the owners are still in love with their resilica worktops and indeed how the whole space and new connection with the garden has improved their lives (especially over lockdown!) We are lucky to work with great customers who understand and appriciate how design choices make them feel… customers who are typically looking for elements to elevate their scheme and are not scared to make unconventional decisions, such as leaving the supporting steels exposed… This industrial edge was softened by painting them red, and we love it!

The beautiful Japanese patisserie KOVA in South Kensington featured one of our recycled glass and natural stone surfaces to give a slightly more terrazzo feel. This seamless and bespoke monolithic display counter was the perfect backdrop to show off their gorgeous matcha cakes

Simple kitchens have long been a favourite of ours... The pure and simple aesthetic makes a strong statement in any space and works really well when combined with our recycled glass worktops!
