ys encouraged me to start my own business and to share my passion for feeling good in your home environment. I make handmade bespoke personalised items that are not available on the high street. From a love of card crafting, handwriting, transforming furniture and general creativity this new business venture brings together all my passions. The environment is very important to me. I seek a lot of inspiration for my creations from the beautiful countryside around me, the beaches on my doorstep with all its stunning and natural surroundings. All my items are made from natural products (paper, card, metal, pottery, wood, chalk paint, willow and slate) with sustainability in mind. These beautiful handmade finished products will last for years to come and hopefully create special family memories year after year. ✨ I did my very first summer event… and my heart is so full. ☀️💙

Beyond grateful for every single person who came to say hi! I am always humbled by how many lovely humans I meet at these markets and seeing people connect with my personalised keepsakes is the loveliest feeling in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🥹✨

These are just a few of the beautiful things I overheard people saying at the Dovetail stall this weekend… and honestly they meant more than you will ever know. 💙

A: Yes!

Q: It must be hard to write on round things?
A: It is tricky at first!

Q: I can finally have something with my name on it, you dont know how hard that is to find!
A: Yes I can make that for you.

Q: Is that your writing?
A: Yes!

Q: How did you start doing this?
A: I Learnt calligraphy in Primary School and learnt Modern Brush Calligraphy course a few years ago.

Q: How did you start doing this?
A: My daughter and I made hand stamped personalised baubles for every family member as Christmas presents. Then it developed into brush lettering.

Q: I already follow you. I am so glad as I saw you today as I would like to come to your next workshop.
A: You do?! It’s so nice to meet you, thank you, Next workshop is at Green Lotus Studios, Narberth. Thursday 23rd July. We would love to see you there.

Q: Do you make everything that is on your stall?
A: I personalise all the products you see here. I am very eco-minded. All the materials I work with are natural; wood, metal, porcelain, terracotta, willow, slate, paper, card etc.

Q: Can I pre-order six of your Christmas baubles? That will be some more present ticked off the list. A: Yes, you can. I can make those for you this coming week as I always try and keep a good stock of baubles as I am asked to make them year round!

Little Stone 🩵 Big Love

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Dovetail stall at Sandy Bear’s Big Bash on Saturday and purchased one of our special doorstep stones.

Each stone carried the message “Little Stone 🩵 Big Love - Sandy Bear” and was created as a small keepsake with a very big heart.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we raised £29.91 for . Every penny will help support bereaved children, young people and their families.

We are so grateful to everyone who supported this little fundraiser and helped turn small stones into big love. 🩵

💙💛We’re Heading to the Sandy Bear Big Bash!💛💙

I am so excited to be going to the Sandy Bear Big Bash Event on Saturday 6th June at Haverfordwest Showground! ✨

I will be there throughout the day, personalising and hand lettering a beautiful range of gifts and keepsakes while you shop and enjoy all the fun. 🖊️🤍

Last year was such an incredible day, filled with smiles, community spirit and lots of special moments, so I can’t wait to be part of it all again.

With free entry, a fun run at 11am, plenty of delicious food, entertainment and activities for all ages, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family. 🎉

Most importantly, the event supports Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity, ( ) whose work provides invaluable support to bereaved children and young people across Pembrokeshire. Their impact reaches so many families and it’s an honour to support such an important cause. 💙

Here’s a little round up of my workshop from last Thursday 🖋️✨

Thank you to all of you that came. It was such a lovely relaxed, warm summers evening filled with a fabulous group of people. You all did so well learning modern brush calligraphy for the first time. Their creations really do speak for themselves and all of this in just a few hours. ✨

✨ T H A T P A U S E …. ✨

Those little magic moments…

There is something so special about creating something with a new skill you have just learnt. Knowing you have made something magical, completely unique and personal, a keepsake to treasure forever. 💙

On a personal note, I am so lucky that I get to experience those tiny pause moments every single day while creating beautiful pieces for my customers. And somehow, it happens twice… once after I step back to look at what I have created and again when they are handed over. ✨

That feeling never gets old.

Those quiet little pause moments are truly beautiful and so humbling. 🤍
