🏡 Another beautiful heritage restoration completed by SGT Repointing Solutions! 🪨
We’re delighted to share one of our latest projects, where we transformed this old, failing stone wall while preserving its original character and charm.
This project involved:
🔨 Carefully dismantling the existing wall.
🦺 Excavating and installing brand-new reinforced footings.
🧱 Constructing a retaining wall behind to provide long-term strength and stability.
🪨 Rebuilding the front wall using all of the original stone, ensuring the finished result stayed true to the property’s heritage.
🏛️ Removing the old brick archway and replacing it with a hand-built stone arch. We made a custom timber former before individually cutting and laying each stone to create a traditional arch that blends seamlessly with the wall.
