Could this be the ultimate before and after photo...? π€
Earlier this year, I was tasked by Flambards to fell this line of Leylandii along Gay's Hill. They had become over sized for the area and posed a serious threat to the highway.
It took a lot of organising to find the quickest, safest and most efficient way of completing this job without causing too much disruption to Ferdi's Indoor Play and members of the public.
On reaching out to Travis of TW Treesurgery & Ground clearance it became clear he had/ could get hold of the right kit. He had a monster chipper from Ufkes Greentec for the week, along with his 14t digger.
Also, due to the amount of material coming from the site a 'Felling License' was required from the Forestry Commission. I have not dealt with these before, however a good friend/ forester 'Jan' from Penryn completed the arduous task on my behalf, and got the required license.
The majority of the material went to Chipmunk South West Ltd to be sorted and used for biomass and saw dust. Local farmers also came with their trailers to make use of the chippings.
I'd like to give a massive shout out to Travis and 'the crew' (Charlie, Ash, Jago, Steph) that have helped get this job completed in just 3 days!
